Warren Central High School Class Of 2021
Ball State University Class Of 2026
I was born to two loving mothers in 2002 and went to St. Richard's Episcopal School through to fifth grade before transferring to Creston Middle School for grades 6-8. After middle school I went to Warren Central High School and graduated in 2021 on a unique track designed for those looking to go into education. There I got my first taste of being an adult in a classroom, helping elementary school teachers at Lakeside Elementary School as part of that unique track. At Ball State University, I have spent time working with teachers at Northside Middle School, most recently spending an entire semester helping Nathan Earle, a second year 8th grade history teacher there alongside two other Ball State students.
Over my life I have had many struggles. My parents divorced while I was in elementary school, I was in a very bad headspace during middle school leading to my going in-patient and being diagnosed with Anxiety, Autism, Depression, and ADHD. After being medicated I was able to do much better in school, no longer having mental breakdowns regularly, and thrived in high school where I routinely took dual credit classes and developed my love for sociology. Now I have a step-mother, a step-brother, and a step-sister and get along with all of them well. My step-mother is a teacher and my other two mothers are nurses and they have worked very hard to support me and help me succeed in college even as I have, at times, struggled.
